Keep Calm and Snap On

I know you've seen them.... Keep Calm and Carry On. They're everywhere, the original versions and tons of plays on the original. If you're wondering, like I was, where did this saying come from, you can find out on the Wikipedia page here.

My friend Jessica is a photographer, you can check out her awesome work at her website, JessicaKlimaPhotography. Whenever I saw this version of the "Keep Calm and Carry On", I knew it would be the perfect birthday gift for her. I used the same technique as I did in this project.

  4. I love this!
I have a Silhouette, but I'm still figuring out how to use it. Did you just cut out the design and glue it down?

  5. Loveeeeeeeeeee this! It would be perfect for my little office space. Wish I had a Silhouette, hoping Santa delivers.:O) Your friend is a lucky girl to receive such a great gift. The aging effect is just the right amount. Black/white how classy! You should be proud of this piece you created!

  6. @PeaceLoveApplesauce... if you had white vinyl you could just paint your plaque black and place the vinyl down on top and be finished, but I didn't have any white vinyl. So, I painted my plaque white and laid down my pink vinyl, then spray painted it black and peeled up the vinyl letters!
